Set YouTube Music as an Alarm on Android

After you activate a paid YouTube Music plan, use the steps below to set any tune from the service as an alarm on Android.

Step 1: Open the Clock app on Android. Go to the Alarm tab. Tap + at the bottom.

Step 2: Add time for your next alarm. The system activates your alarm with a default tone. Tap on your alarm to customize it.

Step 3: Select the alarm tone option. Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner and select YouTube Music.

Step 4: Download the app on your phone. The YouTube Music tab shows up at the top. Move to it.

Step 5: YouTube Music shows last played songs, charts, mixed playlists, new releases, songs from favorite artists, and more. You can always search for a specific song from the bottom-right corner menu.

While YouTube Music is getting more popular by the day, Spotify remains many’s go-to pick. If you are among them, follow the steps below to set Spotify as the alarm on Android.

Step 1: Go to the Alarm menu in the Clock app. Create a new alarm from the + menu.

Step 2: Expand the alarm and select tone. Tap the three-dot menu at the top to install Spotify. Launch Spotify and sign in with your account details.

Step 3: Your Spotify playlists, trending songs, podcasts, and more appear under the Spotify tab.

You can search for a specific song from the bottom menu too. Go back, and your alarm is ready-to-use.

Set Spotify as an Alarm on Samsung Galaxy Phones

Samsung uses a different Clock app on Galaxy phones. Thanks to a close partnership with Spotify, the South Korean giant supports the most popular streaming app in the Clock app.

Step 1: Open the Clock app on your Samsung phone.

Step 2: Go to the Alarm tab and tap + icon.

Step 3: Set alarm time and select Alarm sound.

Step 4: Select Spotify. If you haven’t downloaded Spotify, the system asks you to download the app first.
